The Curry QB Camps offer young football players a unique opportunity to develop their skills and learn the fundamental techniques of the most demanding position on the football field -- QUARTERBACK. Instruction will be provided by a staff that includes some of the finest high school and college coaches in the nation.
This year's Curry & Powlus QB Camp will feature some of the top Division I QB's -- Matt McGloin from Penn State University will be on hand, along with Andrew Jonocho and Tino Sunseri from the University of PIttsburgh. Also lending their expertise will be some of the top high school and college coaches in the state. State Championship coaches Dave Hess (Selinsgrove), Mark Schmidt (Neshaminy), Jim Roth (Southern Columbia), Mike Brennan (Blue Mountain), Jim Morgans (Parkland), Bob Palko (West Allegheny), Kevin Clancy (Strath Haven), and Stan Dakosty (Marion Catholic), will be on hand to instruct the QB's. Other top-notch coaches such as Joe Repshas (Abington Heights), Kyle Hauze (Parkland), Tim Jonocho (Clearfield), Chris Weakland (State College), Carmen DeFrancisco (Mt. Carmel), and Glen MacNamee (Central Dauphin) will also be there for instruction. Coach George Curry and Ron Powlus, Sr., along with former Berwick High School greats Dave Robbins, NFL veteran Bo Orlando, and Frank Jankowski will be on hand to lend their expertise.
Players from the age of nine through graduating seniors in high school are welcome. The cost of the camp is $50.00. The fee includes a camp t-shirt and lunch (for camp participants and coaching staff only).
Advanced registration is encouraged. All registration forms must be mailed by Saturday, May 18th, to be sure all materials are received prior to the camp date. NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 23, 2013 @ 12:00 NOON. Check or money order, payable to Curry QB Camp, Inc., must accompany camp registration.
